Welcome to Handmade Art Space! These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of our website, your purchase of our handmade products, and your booking of our classes, workshops, and private events. By accessing our site or making a purchase/booking, you agree to these Terms.

1. Handmade Products & Availability

  • Unique Characteristics: All our paintings and crafts are handmade. Slight variations in color, texture, and size are a natural part of the handmade process and are not considered defects. Keep in mind that colors may appear differently on your screen than in person.

  • Availability: Many of our items are one-of-a-kind or produced in limited batches. We reserve the right to limit quantities or discontinue products at any time.

2. Classes, Workshops, & Event Bookings

  • Registration: Spots for kids' art classes and workshops are secured only upon full payment.

  • Classes: Make sure that all classes must be completed within the designated month. Any classes not completed by the end of the month will not be carried over to the following month.

  • Makeup Classes: If any student can’t attend any class for any reason, parents should inform the teacher at least 24 hours prior to the class schedule to get a makeup class.

    • Only one makeup class is allowed monthly which should be availed in same month.

    • Its parent’s responsibility to contact the teacher and take the schedule for makeup class in advance.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling (Classes/Workshops): If you need to cancel a class registration, please notify us at least 24 hours in advance for a store credit or refund. Cancellations made after this window are non-refundable.

  • Private Parties / Paint Parties / Birthday Parties: To book a private birthday paint party or custom event, a non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to hold your date. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before the event.

  • Cancellations & Rescheduling (Private Parties): Party deposits are non-refundable. If you need to reschedule, we require at least 10 days of notice. We will do our best to accommodate a new date within 30 days, subject to availability.

3. Liability & Event Participation (Important for Kids' Events)

  • Supervision: For drop-off kids' classes, parents/guardians must sign a waiver upon arrival and pick up children promptly at the end time. For certain workshops or family events, parent/guardian supervision may be required.

  • Clothing & Messes: Art is messy! While we provide aprons, Handmade Art Space is not responsible for damage to clothing or personal items. Please dress yourself and your children accordingly.

  • Allergies & Safety: Please notify us in advance of any severe allergies or medical conditions your child has. We use non-toxic, kid-safe art supplies, but participants assume all standard risks associated with art activities.

4. Shipping, Returns, & Refunds

  • Physical Products: We accept returns on unused, undamaged physical products within 30 days of delivery with purchase receipt. Custom or personalized art pieces are final sale and cannot be returned.

  • Services: Missed classes ("no-shows") are not eligible for refunds, only one make-up class will be provided in the same month.

5. Intellectual Property

All artwork, designs, class curriculums, photographs, and website content are the intellectual property of Handmade Art Space. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute our artwork or class materials without our express written permission.

6. Code of Conduct

We strive to create a safe, welcoming, and creative environment. We reserve the right to refuse service, cancel bookings, or ask a participant to leave an event (without refund) if their behavior is disruptive, unsafe, or disrespectful to staff or other guests.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Handmade Art Space shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of our site, products, or participation in our events.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Illinois/USA. Any disputes arising from these Terms will be resolved in the courts of Naperville/USA.
